Experience the power of Chingay’s largest community collaboration through five spectacular district floats created by 5,000 residents working together.

Built by residents, community groups and partners under the guidance of community artists, each float showcases the unique character and aspirations of Central Singapore, North East, North West, South East and South West districts.

Cast your vote to celebrate the incredible community effort behind these remarkable creations and help identify the district that best captured the heart of Singapore's neighbourhoods.

Eligible voters will stand to win one of 30 Dairy Farm Group $10 e-vouchers through a lucky draw. Voting closes on 15 March 2026, 2359 hrs. Please read the terms and conditions attached before participating.

Float 1: Nostalgic Playground (Central Singapore District)

In the hustle of life, many Singaporeans share one simple wish: to go back to a time when life was playful, carefree and full of simple joys. The community float reimagines childhood memories as a whimsical dreamscape, where items from the past become larger-than-life expressions of joy, recreated with a modern take.

Float 2: Nian Nian You Yu (North East District)

"Nian Nian You Yu", a cherished wish passed down through generations, symbolises abundance and prosperity. This community float takes inspiration from that tradition and Singapore's early beginnings as a fishing village and trading port, where fishermen cast their nets with hopes for bountiful catches. Like the rising fish that symbolises dreams taking flight, the float embodies community creativity and collective joy, reflecting shared hopes for unity and the year ahead.

Float 3: Metamorphosis of Hope (North West District)

Metamorphosis of Hope represents the transformative power of change, resilience and community spirit. Just as a caterpillar transforms into a majestic butterfly, individuals can emerge stronger, more beautiful, and radiant after facing challenges and adversity. It is a testament to the human spirit's capacity for transformation, growth and renewal.

Float 4: Starry Tree of Wishes (South East District)

Under the starry sky, the golden Starry Tree of Wishes stands tall, each leaf carrying the resident's hopes and dreams. Community voices rise softly, weaving tales of togetherness and joy. While silhouettes of the community move together beneath the glow, individual wishes intertwine, lighting the way forward - a shared story of connection, possibility and a brighter future.

Float 5: Future Pulse (South West District)

Future Pulse captures the rhythm of a rising generation - the heartbeat of Singapore's youth! where the float becomes a living organism of imagination: vibrant, expressive, and constantly in motion. From sculpted cloud to shimmering futuristic structures, the design echoes a city shaped by the visions of young creators, with light pulses mirroring the dynamic heartbeat of a future they are already shaping. Future Pulse celebrates a generation unafraid to remix, reimagine, and reshape their world.
