OUR FIRST-EVER Chingay children's book is a beautifully illustrated story that introduces the wonders of the Chingay Parade Singapore.  It follows Meena, a young girl determined to build her own Chingay float. Along her journey, Meena discovers Singapore’s vibrant cultural tapestry and teams up with friends from all walks of life to create a ‘little float’, a heartwarming symbol of hope, diversity, and unity. 

What Makes This Book Special 

Singapore and Malaysia have jointly nominated Chingay onto the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in March 2025.
